Background
Dr. Dejan Dragisic is a specialist in oral surgery and completed his full education at the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany. The dentistry studies were followed by a four-year postgraduate specialist training in oral surgery and implantology. He wrote his doctoral thesis in the field of Oral Medicine.
In 2005 he moved to London and worked in the Oral Medicine Unit at the Eastman Dental Hospital (University College London Hospitals NHS Trust), the largest university dental medicine center in the United Kingdom. In 2014 he opened his own practice in London’s West End. In 2022 he relocated part of his work to Zurich and founded the D-Clinic on Stadelhoferstrasse. In parallel he is Senior Consultant at the Center for Dental Medicine of the University of Zurich, where he cares for geriatric and medically complex patients.
Clinical focus
For Resident he takes over the demanding oral surgery and implantology cases from all six locations at the Zurich Bellevue location. His focus is on implant therapy including immediate implantation, bone and soft tissue augmentation (sinus lift, guided bone regeneration), wisdom tooth removal with complex anatomy, apicoectomy and the surgical care of medically compromised patients.
He is Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the internationally leading implantology association, and mentor in the Straumann Clinical Mentoring Programme. Member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons. Listed in the GDC register London under number 100498.
