Frequently asked

Frequently asked

Which Resident location is the right one for me?

For routine check-ups and dental hygiene, the location closest to home is usually the simplest choice. For complex implantology or treatments under anaesthesia, Bellevue or Winterthur are particularly suitable, and Bellevue for multilingual treatment. If you are unsure, call any location; we advise you and refer you on if needed.

Are the six locations equipped and organised the same way?

Hygiene, materials and treatment protocols are standardised across all locations. The focuses differ, however: not every specialty is permanently on site everywhere, and some specialists rotate between locations. Each location is led by a leading dentist.

Can I move between locations for different treatments?

Yes. Treatment documents such as X-ray images, treatment plan and history are digitally viewable at all locations within the Resident group. You can, for example, have your dental hygiene at one location and an implant treatment at another, without documents having to be sent separately.

At which locations is treatment under anaesthesia possible?

Sedation and general anaesthesia are available at several locations, coordinated by trained specialists in anaesthesiology. Complex procedures under anaesthesia are usually carried out in Winterthur. Which anaesthetist works at which location depends on the day of the week.

Which locations are also open at the weekend?

Winterthur and Rapperswil-Jona are open seven days, on Saturdays from 9 to 15 and on Sundays from 9 to 12. Ermatingen is reachable on Saturdays from 9 to 13 by appointment. The other locations are open Monday to Friday until 20:00.
